Biography

Casey Carroll is a Composer, Arranger and Producer based in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. He has a background in Choral music, where his journey in music started at the age of 5. To this day Casey incorporates the choir into many of his scores, providing a human element that cannot be achieved with instruments. He recently performed premiering an opera in Carnegie hall conducted by Eric Whitacre.

Casey's training stems from his education in Classical Piano, which he has studied close to a decade. He also plays Guitar, Saxophone and Sings beside the Piano. Casey currently studies Musical Theatre from Douglas Anderson School of the Arts in Jacksonville, Fl, and takes composition based classes alongside his Theatre classes. His training also extends to expertise in Logic Pro X, as well as knowledge in Ableton Live 10 and Sibelius.

He has worked on Award winning films locally and studied with the staff from Berklee college of Music in Los Angeles where he learned from a panel of Hollywood composers Including Grammy winning Stephanie Economou, Oscar-nominated composer Harry Gregson-Williams and more. He has also studied for extended periods at the Boston Conservatory, as well as UNCSA through their summer high school composition intensives.

Casey most recently finished scoring over an hour of music commissioned by Douglas Anderson SOTA for their production of 'the Crucible', and was asked to score their next play 'Constellations' by Nick Payne. His score for 'the Crucible' gained him National media recognition, and was the first of its kind at Douglas Anderson School of the Arts.

Currently working on three projects, Casey is keeping busy through the process of Composing an original score for 'Constellations' by Nick Payne to be premiered October 4-7 at Douglas Anderson School of the Arts. He is also composing for a crime drama by USC film major Ravi Reis and working on releasing a neoclassical EP later this year.

Casey looks to pursue Film/Media composition as a career in the future and become the best musician he possibly can.
